VN 1500 Classic
A Great Entrance
By carefully selecting components and modifying existing parts we've transformed this VN 1500 into a real show stopper.
A classic and powerful, but not old fashioned presence was the customer's wish.
So we chose our 15" wide tire conversion. Combined with our shortened shock absorbers this especially suits the 200 series tire.
At the rear a short fender with external fender struts provides the right amount of cover and the old style tail light plus the Delta luggage rack give it a whole new look.
At the front end we've limited ourselves to optical modifications such as polishing the fork tubes to give a high quality finish.
Delta parts were used to in place of the handlebars and risers and the cables were then invisibly routed inside them.
The existing hand controls were polished to match the forks and a Bates headlight was fitted.
The old "monster" speedo was swapped out for a mini speedo which combined with the shorter front fender produces an extremely clean front end.
For better braking application and feel, we replaced the brake lines with braided steel hoses, they look great too!
To add a modern touch the tank needed some attention. So the standard gas holder was stretched and given a clean look. To finish it off it was fitted with a flush gas cap, otherwise known as a pop-up cap.
The TüV approved Delta exhaust with Snuff or Not end caps doesn't just provide sound adjustment but combined with the fat downpipes has a radical look that should be compulsory with the 1500cc.
Another highlight on the bike is, without a doubt the air cleaner. The horizontally mounted Hypercharger with polished stainless steel intake pipe really makes this bike stand out. This just goes to demonstrate the importance of carefully selecting components.
